Remember Black Panther?
The award-winning blockbuster that put South Africa's very own isiXhosa language on the big screen.

Well, we thought we'd hijack a little of that magic for Chicken Licken, a leading South African fast-food chain. The brand's ads were already so cinematic that people kept begging them to make a movie. So we did. Sort of.

The result? We made an ad so convincing that cinema audiences thought the movie itself was starting. And Marvel even gave us a shout-out. (No, we didn't pay them to do it.)

Since talking about awards is basically my full-time job in order to get a full-time job, let me tell you what this campaign picked up.

We won big at the Loeries, South Africa's leading awards show. The campaign took home Gold in the Effective Creativity category, as well as Gold for Special Effects. But it also won something a little harder to measure: the hearts of South Africans. You want proof? The burgers sold out when the ad launched.

Pretty cool, right? I'd love to make something this big for your agency, too. Real work that captures the hearts of real people.
